Know Your Rights: Training for Driving Allies

Hundreds of immigration-related appointments have been scheduled in the coming weeks and months for members of our immigrant community. In partnership with BASIC, BIC is providing Know Your Rights training for individuals interested in volunteering as drivers through the Driving Allies program.

This training is designed to help prospective volunteer drivers better understand their rights and responsibilities when supporting community members traveling to immigration-related appointments.

What Training Covers:

  • How Drivers and Clients Connect — presented by the Driving Allies organizing team

  • Know Your Rights for Drivers — presented by BIC

Please Note:
BIC is providing Know Your Rights training only. The Driving Allies program is operated separately. BIC does not manage the program, coordinate drivers or rides, process volunteer applications, or handle communications between drivers and clients.

Registering for a training does not constitute registration for the Driving Ally program.
